- You need to provide them with the following details:
- Details of the loss for which wish to claim your Royal Sundaram Car Insurance policy like:
- Accident
- Theft
- Third-party Liability
- Policy details and
- Your registered contact details
Note: Remember not to try to repair or dismantle the vehicle of the damage yourself

Cashless Claim for Royal Sundaram Car Insurance Policy can only be done at authorized garages which have a tie-up for cashless claim with Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company Limited. Here are the steps that need to be followed:
- You need to contact the insurer and register the claim, as mentioned above
- An authorized surveyor will be appointed to survey the damage after the intimation of the claim and submitting the details of the estimated cost of repair
- You need to submit a duly signed claim form along with your KYC documents like Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN number, etc.
- In the case of a company-owned vehicle, a copy should be signed by the authorized signatory along with company seal should be submitted
- You need to submit the registration certificate along with a photocopy of the same and copy of the driving license
- For a Third-Party Claim, you need to submit a copy of the FIR
- In case the claim is more than Rs 1 lakh, then submit a copy of PAN card and passport size photographs
- Based on the claim, Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company Limited can ask for additional documents
- Then you need to take your car to an authorized garage and cashless claim would be settled directly with the garage.
- Process for Reimbursement Claim for Royal Sundaram Car Insurance Policy:
If you wish to repair your vehicle in a non-authorized garage, then you need to pay for the expenses upfront and then claim the same. However, you need to get follow these steps BEFORE the repair
- You need to contact the insurer and register the claim, as mentioned above
- An authorized surveyor will be appointed to survey the damage after the intimation of the claim and submitting the details of the estimated cost of repair
- Once the survey is done, you can take your car to a non-authorized garage
- You need to pay for the expenses upfront and then claim for the same
AFTER the repair, you need to submit the original bill and receipts of the repair expenses to Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company Limited
